Airtime has been dabbling in live event broadcasting. Most recently at the Codemotion Berlin developer conference, we shared live audio from panels, got interviews with many great attendees and even turned some of them into DJs for an hour! Since then, Airtime has been approached to take on many more exciting events this summer and we wanted to share the news with you.

Three events using Airtime for live radio:

First up is the Radio Hack Day happening next week from June 28-30. We will be at Supermarkt in Berlin for three days of glorious radio fun, bringing together veterans of radio as well as new technologies for radio and broadcasting. It will surely be a fun time and we encourage you to come by and find us or you can contact them here.

St. Kilda Strip Festival celebrates the fine art of strip-shopping and street life and is packed full with community events over seven days. They are also looking for more artists and performers so if you are interested in getting involved, just get in touch!

And finally, together with the Media Lab (Telemídia) of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC), AMARC Brazil and the technology think tank, Saravá are planning to hold a three day seminar/workshop from the 22-24 of October, called "Spectrum, Society and Communication II – Visions for Digital Broadcasting in Brazil and the World".

You can also stay tuned to Sourcefabric radio, where you can hear interviews with our community alongside great music! We will be sure to follow up with more news about the fun events Airtime will be streaming live from!
