Airtime 1.8.1 manual for broadcasters published
Airtime is our open radio software for scheduling and remote station management, and the new user's manual is once more hot off the press for the latest version, Airtime 1.8.1. It guides you through every step of the software's functionality from uploading audio to scheduling shows in the calendar, from installation to import scripts. It's also got some great diagrams of example set-ups and stations.
Updates to the manual, all in glorious technicolor, include:
- Show recording
- Show metadata and time editing
- Schedule export to Newscoop widgets
- Stream label and SoundCloud preferences
- New install instructions for version 1.8.1
- Setting individual cue in and cue out points for items in a playlist
- Dragging, dropping and resizing shows in the calendar
All this, plus screenshots have been updated wherever the graphical interface has changed. Huge thanks to Daniel James for his amazing work in documenting the changes.
There's more good news. The manual is available to read online, to download as a pdf, or to view as an epub thanks to the amazing Floss Manuals platform.
